Mohammed Yacine : ウィキペディア英語版 | Mohammed Yacine
Mohammed Yacine (1920 - 1988) ((アラビア語:محمد ياسين)) was an Algerian writer who wrote over 20 novels. He moved to Paris in 1952 and travelled throughout Europe. He wrote in French. Perhaps his best known work is the novel ''Nadjmu'' (1954), which deals with four men planning a coup. His other works include the novel ''Étoile'' (1976) and the play ''L'histoire du sandales de caoutchouc'' (1970). Yacine's work was often about contemporary Franco-Algerian politics. His later plays praising French colonialism were very controversial.
